Holidays to Maiori

A favoured holiday destination for a long time, the Neapolitan Riviera's picturesque resorts have always been popular and Maiori is no exception to this. Situated a little down from the Amafli coast, it offers a taste of real Italy with a Mediterranean feel and a lovely beach thrown in.

Traditionally a destination for weekend breaks in Italy, particularly with couples; Maiori is now increasingly being visited by families looking for cheap package holidays not too far away from home.

The pleasant bustling promenade backs the sand and pebble beach which shelves gently into the calm waters, making this coastal town ideal for family holidays. The authentic Italian restaurants, cafes and bars are favoured by the more mature visitors who wish to watch the world go by while sampling the local specialities. 

Hotels and apartments in Maiori are generally more low key and geared towards those on budget family holidays, and there are also plenty of great value self catering apartments dotted throughout the town.
