Holidays to Meganissi

Meganissi is a beautiful, very tiny island near Lefkada. It is extremely green and lush with wonderful sandy beaches that are washed by crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Meganissi is the ideal choice for a relaxing getaway and you can always be sure of a warm welcome. 

The island covers 19.85 square kilometres and is inhabited by just 1500 permanent residents. This is an incredibly unspoilt destination, perfect for those who like natural, quiet beaches and prefer traditional architecture to hotel tower blocks.

The very size of Meganissi makes it a great place to explore on foot (handy as there's only one taxi on the island and a minibus). Travelling from Spartohori you can also reach the village of Katomeri where Manos has accommodation on the beach at Porto Elia. From there the enchanting toy-town hamlet of Vathi, with fishermen's houses lining the picturesque waterfront can be reached. Let Meganissi work its sleepy magic on you.
