Small but perfectly formed, Luxembourg is packed with beautiful scenery, castle fortresses and wineries - what more could anyone want? From the quaint charm of the Old Town to the modern angular buildings of the Bank District, Luxembourg combines many traditions and architectural styles in one.
A trip to the Moselle Valley region whilst on holiday in Luxembourg is a must if you are a wine lover or connoisseur. There are several wineries, including the Cellars of Poll-Fabaire, which allow guided tours and tasting sessions during spring and summer. In addition to this, a visit to Luxembourg City is worth a visit if only to devour the beautiful panoramas and experience most of the hustle and bustle that Luxembourg as a whole has to offer. Here you can also encounter the picturesque Old Town which houses several museums and cosy coffee shops.
Dining in Luxembourg is top notch, with more Michelin starred restaurants packed into this small country than some continents could ever wish for. And all that food should be washed down with some of the locally produced wine, such as Riesling or Pinto Noir. Then perhaps on to a club or music venue for some late night entertainment, the majority of which will be found in Luxembourg City.
