Holidays to Anaxos

Flights to Anaxos will take you to the centre of the north coast of Lesvos. Anaxos is a quiet island with uncrowded beaches, a low amount of development and a relaxing atmosphere. The beach at Anaxos is 3km long boasting gold sand and shingle - the sunsets are not to be missed! Tiny coves are not too far away where you can really get away from everyone else. A trip on the road or mule trails along the cliffs will take you there.

Popular activities in Anaxos include taking trips to the caves and medieval castle at Molyvos, the thermal springs, the Petrified Forest in Eressos or tours around Lesvos Island. If you fancied going slightly further a field, trips to nearby Turkey are a popular choice.  

There is a great selection of Greek taverns, cafes and bars dotted along the beach in Anaxos. The nightlife is relatively low key, however a short trip could take you to Petra or Molyvos where a more lively evening can be found.
