The focal point of this bustling village is the stunning harbour, with its colourful stretch of elegant yachts and day trip boats. You will find an excellent selection of tavernas and bars along the quayside, where tables are spread down to the waters edge and the most delicious Greek dishes of the day are prepared. With the twinkling lights from the boats and the backdrop of pine-clad neighbouring islands this is the place to relax at night.
Nidri is a flat resort, with a wonderful, sociable atmosphere making it a suitable choice for all age groups. The days can be filled by lounging on the endless narrow sand and shingle beaches, trying the watersports on offer or even hiring your own boat for the day. There is an excellent choice of boat trips and you could spend an evening on the island of Meganissi dancing with the locals. The main street of Nidri can get very busy, particularly in high season, as it is the hub for visits to the rest of the island.
