Lefkas is a tiny island off the Greek mainland that can only be accessed across a drawbridge over the Lefkas Canal. Lefkas means 'white' and it gets its name from its dramatic white rock cliffs. The island is picturesque and welcoming with numerous calm water beaches.
The east coast of the island has endless olive groves and vineyards which are protected by Greek law. The south coast has the most dramatic cliffs and coves and is excellent for exploring by foot. his is the ideal place to come to relax and enjoy the sun but to also experience the real Greece and the warmth of its people.
