Holidays to Katelios

Katelios is a small fishing village in the south of the island of Kefalonia. Flights to Katelios will take you to a beautiful broad bay from where you can see the island of Zante. There are also stunning rocky hills and fertile agricultural lands surrounding this area.  

Couples and families enjoy holidays in Katelios because of its relaxing, friendly and somewhat uncommercial atmosphere. However there is still plenty of opportunity for sporting activities and exploration. Why not go swimming in the excellent water at the beach or take one of the guided tours to see the turtles. Visitors to Katelios also enjoy walking through the olive and citrus plantations, bird-watching or taking a walk to Markopoulo - a pretty village nearby with excellent views!  

The nightlife in Katelios is mainly focused on the Greek culture such as the taverns that mainly serve Greek style food. However, this is a great way to get a real taste of the Greek culture in Katelios! There are a few bars in this resort to provide entertainment and for those looking for a slightly livelier evening, a short trip to neighbouring villages will reveal a selection of clubs.

The accommodation in Katelios consists mainly of good standard apartment complexes or studio blocks. The majority of accommodation places have excellent facilities including games rooms, bars, restaurants, Jacuzzis, swimming pools and mini golf. Overall, this laid-back resort will keep all members of the family occupied from the start through to the end of their holiday.
