Ibiza is the third largest of the Balearic Islands. It has a gloriously sunny climate with hot dry summers that are cooled by gentle sea breezes. The broad, sandy beaches buzz with water sports and ocean fun, but it's not too hard to find hidden coves and peaceful Mediterranean tranquillity. Its towns and villages range from the sleepy and traditional to the cosmopolitan and vibrant. Ibiza also has a reputation for being Europe's party capital and it is true than the biggest and best clubs in the world are in Ibiza, attracting a suitable young and wild clubbing crowd. However, many other resorts are peaceful and family orientated and it is possible to holiday here without even being aware of the revellery going on in other parts of the island. Inland there is stunning scenery and unspoilt country side to be explored, as well as a large number of historical sites and modern attractions.
Multifaceted Ibiza is many things to many people and smitten visitors return here year after year after year.
