Holidays to Nea Moudania

Nea Moudania has a population of 6,500 and is situated just 60 kilometres from Thessaloniki. This area is considered to be the commercial and financial centre of the region, built around 1922 by Asia Minor Greek refugees. Fishing and farming are big parts of this areas lifestyle. It is also home to the only Technical Education Institute in Halkidiki.

Nea Moudania is home to a large olive plantation that has been operating since the 1920s and a commercial fishing harbour - two great places to visit! The white beaches at Nea Moudania are ideal for children and those who are not particularly strong swimmers as the water is shallow. Many come to the beach to enjoy the fresh fish and coffee from the eateries on the beach front.
